On September 16th Dutch experts visited the high-tech greenhouse located in Gardabani and got acquainted with the production technology.
The high-profile guests expressed particular interest for the greenhouse hydroponics system, which guarantees stable yields and high quality among other harvesting methods. Hydroponics is a subset of hydroculture, which is a method of growing plants without soil by instead using mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent. Thus, representatives of Internationally acclaimed companies noted that hydroponics, with its flexibility and modern system, enables balanced supply of fertilizers and nutrients, which is important for maintaining high quality products.
The guests also noted the ultra-modern artificial lighting system that was recently installed in the greenhouse, and encourages the growth of harvests during the winter.
Among the guests were representatives of such renewable companies such as: Bosmanvanzaal, Celtic Cooling, Certhon, Dalsem, Holland Farming BV, Lily Company, Reytec Innovation Projects, RONAR B.V.
