Prior to joining the Georgian Co-Investment Fund as a Managing Director, Mr. Jorbenadze has built a 15-year track record in private equity and investment banking focusing on emerging markets and closed transactions worth over USD 5 billion. Most recently, he was Head of Investments at Nova Capital, a leading mid-market asset manager where he established private equity practice and managed the fund’s portfolio companies’ M&A and fund-raising activities. Prior to this, he worked at VTB Capital, where he set up the firm’s western European financial sponsor coverage and cross-border M&A practices and the Rothschild Group, where he played a leading role in the creation of its Russia & CIS business. Mr. Jorbenadze holds an MBA from the University of Nebraska; BA in International Relations from Tbilisi State University and attended the City University of New York.
